(…and “drop it like its hot”, as they say) have little to do with perfect grammar or a point by point outline of all the amazing things contained in your workshop or product.

Some of my clients are professional published writers who write their own amazing speeches and blog articles – they capture a room and create “a-Ha” moments like popcorn – BUT, they don’t know good sales copy from their left big toe.

Sweeping claims feel “salesy” and removed from reality. Too much nitty gritty will make people’s eyes glaze over in about 5 seconds (literally)

Most folks make the deadly mistake of focusing on the nerdy details but not the heart, or focus too much on the heart leaving people not understanding the immense value of what you are offering, or how it will impact them in any real way.
